The atmosphere would be better if it wasn't so loud in the back room or on the patio. The food is very tasty but a little pricey. You do get great food for what you pay for though so I always feel it is worth it. I would love to see a few more dessert options. I haven’t been here in years. The greeters were nice and let us know it was a 10-15 wait. (10 minutes) We were greeted by our server when we sat, she took our order, food came out and I ordered a “puffy” taco, hard shell beef taco and cheese enchilada. The “puffy” is puffy if you like a thicker consistency to your tortilla. The cheese enchilada was delicious. Parking isn’t the best. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Everything was delicious! We were lucky and got to sit on the patio area. Weather was perfect. All of our food came out hot and all of it was delicious. Loved the tacos. Strawberry margaritas were also a hit. Can't wait to go back. More

I've had the pleasure of enjoying take-out from here at least 4 different times and boy is it delicious! Never disappointed. The chips and queso are amazing, perfect chips every time best from any Mexican place I've eaten at! I like the famous tacos chicken and beef. So GOOD!! Filling and scrumptious. I almost forgot about how good this place is! Gravy on burritos, it sounds crazy but they are AMAZING. And you have to try the fried flour shell tacos, they are huge but filled with just enough to still make it easy to eat and not falling apart. Their rice is my absolute favorite, plain but perfectly cooked and great mixed with the burrito! Great atmosphere, they always seem pretty busy. Our server was very friendly and prompt. I don't think they are open on Sunday or Monday though which is kind of a bummer. Forewarning, they have a tiny parking lot, but it's worth the wait! Got some takeout on a Friday night and the place was PACKED! Still got my food super quick and the service was friendly. Tacos are more of the fried puffy shell style. Definitely not a street Taco style but tasty! The burrito was... interesting. Never seen a burrito smothered in straight up gravy before. We had a fantastic experience at Maria’s! The food was phenomenal and the drinks were great. Our server was incredibly nice and attentive, making the meal even better. Just a couple of heads-up: it’s definitely on the pricier side, and the parking is quite limited, so you might have to hunt for a spot like we did. That said, the quality makes it totally worth it. Highly recommend! This is a restaurant that I've been going to since it opened coming up on 50 years ago. It has evolved but never lost its heart. If you have a big stomach or are happy to have leftovers for the next day, get the Maria's Special. I love the red sauce enchiladas. For those who are used to Americanized Tex Mex do not come here or come with an open mind. Maria's is her legitimate Mexican food and I for one have always loved it. They've always had puffy tacos, a classic here. Enjoying a margarita and a meal sitting at the bar chatting with the friendly bar staff is also great!
